Your first class is free

One class. No card, no catch. Book below, come in, meet James, and see if Muay Thai is for you.

How it works

Three steps to your first round

  1. Book your spot

Fill in the short form below — it takes a minute. James will get back to you to line up a session. Prefer Instagram? DM @jameshoney.

  2. Turn up a few minutes early

Come to the gym in Currumbin Waters (we’ll send the details when you book) so we can meet you, show you around and wrap your hands if needed.

  3. Train at your pace

Warm-up, technique, padwork. Everything is coached and scaled to you — nobody expects you to know anything on day one.

Muay Thai experience

For example: weeknights after 6, or Saturday mornings.

Goals, injuries, whether you need gloves and wraps for the first class — anything helps.

We only use your details to reply to this enquiry.

Before you come

What to bring

  • Training gear — shorts or tights and a t-shirt or singlet you can move in. We train barefoot.
  • A water bottle — you’ll want it between rounds.
  • A towel — optional, but most people are glad they brought one.
  • Gloves and wraps, if you have them — if you don’t, mention it when you book and we’ll sort you out for the first class.

Worried about fitness, experience or sparring? Read the FAQ — short version: you’ll be fine, and nobody spars on their first day.

Why here

Coached by a reigning world champion

Your first class is with the same coach who won the WMO middleweight world title in August 2025 and defended it in April 2026. That’s the standard — and it starts from your very first session.
